Dash K

Dash was born in Moscow. Her fascination with photography began at the age of 4. The decision to pursue acting and filmmaking naturally evolved from the curiosity about storytelling and moving image.

At the age of about 12, Dash fell in love with the magic of Runway. She took classed and even taught runway to kids at some point. 

Before immigrating to the States, Dash spent some time in Europe, England and a year in Egypt. In Moscow, she ran a production company SnowFork with focus on editorial and commercial photography, creating cover stories for Elle Ukraine, L’Officiel Ukraine and Playboy, just to name a few. 

In 2010 she relocated to Los Angeles to study acting under Gregory Berger-Sobeck, Yale Drama School graduate and faculty member.  

After six years on the West Coast, Dash moved to New York. Brooklyn. Fast forward to 2024, Dash shares her time between New York and the city of her soul - London.

Dash has a few Network TV, numerous short and feature film roles under her belt. 

In summer 2020 Dash had her debut as a cinematographer, creating a full length documentary film Inside Color, that was released in 2021 and received a couple of festival nods. 

In 2023 Dash completed her narrative short film CROWN, that she wrote and directed. The premier will be announced soon. At this Dash is working on a few narrative projects. 

Dash has always had passion for dance. Her favorite styles are dancehall, salsa and house. She is pretty committed to her bi-weekly dance classes. Dash grew up playing Basketball (shooting guard) and rollerblading. Over time she developed love for yoga and continues to experience the amazing benefits it brought to her body and her lifestyle.
