Silas
Silas is a Londoner, born and bred. He is something of a multipotentialite, but has made his living as an actor and voice-over artist for 36 years and counting. Classically trained in the tradition of European method acting, he is as comfortable playing Shakespeare in theatre as he is being a recognisable face on the international screen, small and large.
He’s never happier than when on set, on stage, in front of a camera or a microphone. And when Fortune can’t facilitate that, he’ll be found walking in the woods or working with wood. He describes himself as an artist at home – he paints, he writes – but his most passionate hobby is carpentry, making furniture and volunteering on green-wood builds.
He enjoys regular exercise, cooking, swing dancing and walking – especially among the trees. In another life he might have been a forester (perhaps because his name is a diminutive of Silvanus, the Roman god of the trees).
Silas has also been a life coach for many years and has a wide range of clients from people-of-colour working as television executives to those managing grief or living with terminal illnesses. He delights in helping people reach their goals and acquire peace and acceptance in their lives.
