Martin Gardner is an award-winning photographer working across genres from music, fashion, reportage, interiors and architecture. Martin has photographed some of the world's most famous celebrities from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, The Spice Girls, Nick Cave, Norman Cook aka Fat Boy Slim, Ian Brown, Moby, The Sex Pistols, Blur, Jarvis Cocker, Charlene Spiteri, Cerys Matthews, Bobby Gillespie, Nirvana, Ian Dury, U2, Nick Cave, Happy Mondays, Primal Scream, Skunk Anansie, Jayzee and many more, along with comedians, Ricky Gervais, Peter Kay, Jack Dee, Russell Brand, Jimmy Carr and celebrities Jack Black, Simon Cowell, The Stig, Warwick Davis, Jonathon Ross, Oliver Stone.
Throughout the 90's Martin worked for various magazines including front covers for Q Magazine, Top of the Pops Magazine, Melody Maker, NME travelling internationally to cover music festivals and tours with bands including Primal Scream, Fat Boy Slim, Skunk Anansie and also press features and album covers. Martin's work is now part of the permanent archive collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London and tours internationally. Martin's work was included every year in the Abbey Road Studios Sound & Vision auction fundraiser for CRUK, earning the charity thousands.
More recently Martin has combined his love of interiors and architecture within his portfolio and works internationally with the likes of Norman Foster, Strom, Albert Frey, John Lautner. In 2019 Martin Gardner has been awarded the prestigious 20th Century Society Architecture photography award for 2018-2019.
